When the inventor of Scientology, L Ron Hubbard (also an author of crappy sci-fi such as Battlefield Earth) died, he was in hiding from the law and doped up on a psychiatric drug called Vistaril. That last one wouldn’t normally be an issue, except that the cult he founded is rabidly opposed to proper mental health care. By our reckoning, that means L Ron Hubbard was a hypocrite.

LRH was never a blood-brother of a Native American tribe. He was not an authority on nuclear physics – he failed out of his degree course on the subject.
